Transformations of the muse or Woman of the new age II. is a continuation of the very successful exhibition in 2020. Even now, we will look at the origin and development of Slovak women's literature through the life stories and work of selected women writers. And it will not be just facts known from literary science and history, but also less published knowledge from sociology or gender studies, defining the topic in a wider cultural-historical context.
On halfway to Mars

The residential building of the Slovak National Library was crowded with the people on July 10, 2022 afternoon. Almost a thousand visitors from various corners of the country took place at the science afternoon On the halfway to Mars. The exclusive guests were Dr. Michaela Musilová, Slovak astrobiologist and popularizer of science and prof. Štefan Klein – creator of the Slovak flying car AirCar.

The library having the most beautiful interior in Slovakia is celebrating the 10th anniversary of restoration. On this occasion, it offers visitors an exhibition featuring its rare collections which takes place until the 31st August.
